For Adults and Kids Ages 12+ | All Levels Welcome Step into a world of enchantment, imagination, and hands-on creativity in this one-of-a-kind, fantasy-inspired ceramics workshop! During this special 2-hour experience, participants will craft 4 magical projects, each inspired by the stories & symbols of beloved magical lore. ✨ All clay creations will be professionally fired and glazed by MIY staff, or you’re welcome to return and paint them yourself for a personalized look for a small cost. Plus, one project will be ready to take home the same day as your magical keepsake. 🎩 Station #1: Make a Sorting Hat – Let the Sorting Ceremony Begin! 🪄 The Sorting Hat is calling! At this magical station, you’ll sculpt your very own Sorting Hat using pre-cut slabs of clay. Then, take a short Sorting Hat quiz with a few enchanting questions, your answers will determine how your hat is glazed, revealing which Hogwarts house it belongs to. Will it be Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin? Only the hat knows... 🌿 Station #2: Herbology – Grow a Magical Mandrake 🌱 Step into the Hogwarts greenhouse and discover one of the wizarding world's most extraordinary magical plants! At this station, you'll sculpt your very own mandrake from clay using simple pinch pots and coils. Give your mandrake a unique face, tangled roots, and leafy hair full of personality. Whether it's sleepy, grumpy, or ready to cause a bit of mischief, your magical creation is sure to become a favorite keepsake from your wizarding adventure! ✨ Station #3: Charms – Craft a Protective Amulet 🪄 Every witch or wizard knows that the strongest magic is the kind you carry with you. In this Charms lesson, you'll create your own protective amulet by blending fragrant dried botanicals, symbolic charms, and a touch of imagination into a magical sachet. Choose herbs and flowers inspired by ancient magical traditions, each representing qualities like courage, luck, wisdom, or protection. Enchant your amulet to become a keepsake that's uniquely yours—a little bit of magic to carry wherever your adventures may lead. 🧪 Station #4: Potions – Brew Up a Magical Elixir ✨ Step into the Potion Master's classroom, where every great witch and wizard begins with an empty bottle and a spark of imagination! At this station, you'll hand-build your very own ceramic potion bottle from clay, complete with magical details, enchanted symbols, and a stopper worthy of your favorite spell.
