WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS
Throughout the year MIY holds several workshops and seminars for its members and the public. These classes have been phenomenally successful.
Depending on what is being offered, these sessions can last 2-3 hours to 2-3 days. Workshops cover a variety of techniques about working with clay on the wheel and by hand. We have also offered Mosaics and glass fusing workshops.
Learn & Create
MIY has been able to bring in such ceramist as Janine Senatore from Hanover, Massachusetts on two different occasions to teach extreme handle making and production throwing.
We were also very honored to have renowned author and ceramist, John Britt spend three days in at MIY giving an amazing seminar on glazing. With 30 people from over the US and Canada attending, that weekend was the highlight of the year.
