The Great Clay Throwdown Challenge 

 

Think you’ve got what it takes to create the ultimate ceramic masterpiece? Step up to the wheel or table for a three-hour pottery showdown where participants will be challenged to craft a ceramic vessel using either Wheel Throwing or Hand Building techniques.

 

At the end of the session, your creations will face the ultimate test judged by our fearless leader and studio owner Denise Mendez. She’ll be looking for creativity, craftsmanship, and originality, so bring your boldest ideas and best techniques.

 

This competition is designed exclusively for intermediate and advanced potters who are ready to push their creative limits, test their skills, and have some muddy fun along the way.

 

1st Place Winner – $100 cash prize & one 25 lb bag of clay, and of course, eternal glory (okay… bragging rights 😄

 

2nd Place Winner – one 25 lb bag of clay
