From the beginning, MIY Ceramics & Glass studio has been driven by the interests and involvement of our incredible and engaged community. We are an established and growing Art Community focused on expanding our impact on our local surrounding communities and enhancing the creative experience of local artists. We are a great resource, offering opportunities for the public to be active in a variety of causes and to engage with each other in an interesting and creative environment.

Cups for Pups is one of our most popular community outreach events. The event helps rescue dogs and support local artists and businesses.

Our Annual Cups for Pups fundraising event benefits Everglades Angels Dog Rescue.
You can help rescue dogs and animals get a second chance.
For your generous donation you can help Everglades Angels Dog Rescue, a non-for-profit that helps rescue abandoned dogs in the Everglades of Fl. and gives dogs a chance at finding a happy forever home, you will also receive admission to the event, your pick of an artisan-made Cup/Mug by the talented artist potters of MIY.

We also showcase local businesses from local artisan coffee to waffles and other vendors.

Give Hope Get Art

MIY helps to fill the bowls of those most in need in our communities. MIY's Empty Bowl Fundraiser gives proceeds from the Empty Bowls with a Twist event to the Miami Rescue Mission & Broward Outreach Centers. For your generous donation in helping to fill the bowls for those in need, you will also receive your pick of an artisan-made bowl made by talented artist potters of MIY and a delicious artisan meal by local chefs.
