Glassbound Botanicals Celebrate Earth Day by creating a nature-inspired glass-scape that gives the illusion of a miniature botanical world contained within glass. In this glass fusing class, participants will design a small botanical scene—such as a bonsai tree, flower, or butterfly—using colorful glass and decorative elements. The piece will be kiln-fired to fuse the layers together, creating a unique sculptural artwork inspired by the beauty of nature. Prerequisite: Participants must have completed an Introduction to Glass class prior to enrolling. With a wonderful array of vibrant glass colors to choose from, each fish will reflect your own personal style. Individual guidance is emphasized in this intimate class setting, limited to just six participants. Prerequisite: Completion of an Introduction to Glass Fusing class or equivalent experience. The cost covers 2-hour classes, materials, firings, and instruction.
