Description

This class builds upon the beginner 1 wheel course. It consists of four sessions, each lasting two hours, as well as practice time during each week. Clay will be provided during class, but you'll need to purchase your bag of clay for practice time. Pieces made during class time are covered within the course fee; pieces made during practice time will be measured and paid at 4 cents a cubic inch. We offer various types and colors of clay, starting at $26 for a 25 lbs bag. Additionally, you'll have access to our assortment of in-house glazes. Over the four-week duration, the focus will be on: Throwing taller forms Incorporating handles or additional decorations onto your forms Lidded Vessel Detailed techniques for glazing.
