Beginner Phase 2 Potter’s Wheel Course

It is expected that you have completed our Beginner 1 starter course or have previous experience with wheel throwing. If this is your first class ever, we strongly encourage you to start with our Beginner 1 wheel course where you will learn the basics and mechanics of wheel throwing. For those with previous experience, this is a great refresher class. This class includes: 1- 25lb bag of clay * includes firing and glazes 6 instructed 2-hour classes Practice time during open hours. This class builds upon the beginner 1 wheel course. It consists of six sessions, each lasting two hours, as well as practice time during each week. Additional clay can be purchased at the studio, we offer various types and colors of clay, starting at $26 for a 25 lbs bag. Additionally, you'll have access to our assortment of in-house glazes. Over the six-week duration, the focus will be on: Throwing taller forms Lidded Vessel Incorporating handles or additional decorations onto your forms Detailed techniques for glazing.
