Our artwork is handmade by local artists in our South Florida studio. We sell functional and decorative glass and ceramic pieces and dichroic jewelry on display at our studio. Galleries sell handmade artwork for 2-3 times the price they pay to the producing studio. Buying directly from us, you will save this steep markup while supporting your local artists. Sales at our studio are conducted on Saturdays from 12-4pm. You can also buy our dichroic glass products online at www.racingbutterfly.com.

At our studio we display a variety of decorative and functional ceramic pieces, handmade by our artists, for sale at prices well below those of art shops.
Functional pieces include: kitchenware, pots, mugs, dishes, jugs, teapots, bowls, trays, plates, pitchers, jars, platters, jewelry boxes, sinks, vases, etc.
Decorative pieces include: centerpieces, pedestals, home, garden, business accent pieces, sculptures, wall plates, pots for bonsai trees, planters, etc.
Our ceramic pieces are distinct handmade works of art. Use them in your home, garden, business, and aquarium or as unique gifts for any occasion.
We also display and sell a broad line of handmade dichroic glass jewelry and artwork.

Bonsai Pots and Aquarium Reefs
To enhance the charming beauty of your bonsai tree,  Bonsai Tree Ceramics Pot
we provide a full line of standard and custom-made bonsai ceramics pots. Our careful use of traditional designs, natural colors and sizes to fit any plant will complement the grace of your bonsai tree.
Pieces of natural coral reef can add beauty to your aquarium but they are expensive, hard to get, and might come from 'fishy' sources. We use special clay to create artificial "live rock" ceramics reefs that are very porous, look like live coral and are safe to use in salt or fresh water aquariums. We can build a custom aquatic landscape that will create a realistic reef environment for your aquarium. These aquascapes are
perfect for coral tanks and fish only tanks. You can also commission custom-made pieces to decorate your aquarium and fish pond.

You can commission single or multiple pottery pieces for use in your home, garden or business. We work closely with individuals, interior designers, business owners, corporations, architects and landscaping artists making the ceramics they need for their decorating projects. Email

For homes we do custom-made functional pottery: kitchenware, pots, pans, bowls, trays, flatware, dinnerware, platters, tableware, salt/pepper shakers, pitchers, jars, jugs, mugs, teapots, cups, saucers, sinks, backsplashes, mailboxes, vases, etc.
For offices we do custom-made functional pottery: pencil/clip holders, personalized storage boxes ( for business cards, DVDs, CDs...) personalized paperweights, etc.
For homes and businesses we do custom-made decorative pottery: names, logos, addresses/numbers, centerpieces/accent pieces, pedestals, abstracts, sculptures, tile inserts, murals, urns, fountains, tree planters, garden accessories, etc. Others: party favors (weddings, baptisms, showers...) holiday and religious ornaments, etc.

Charities, religious, social groups, schools and non-profit organizations frequently commission ceramics pieces for auctioning in fundraising events. We support their objectives by working with them to create attractive designs that generate interest in the ceramics pieces during the auction and motivate higher bids.
If you are a qualified non-profit institution, we'll donate our profit in the commission by charging only for material and labor to make the pieces. We will also help you maximize the success of your fundraising by setting up a potter's wheel at your auction and staging a live demo on pottery making.
The picture on your right shows a variety of bowls commissioned by a church for a communal soup fundraising auction held on April 19, 2007. The participants in the event bid for a bowl of their liking before proceeding to the soup line. The fact that no two bowls were alike greatly contributed to the success of the auction.
