MIY Ceramics is a South Florida learning place for people interested in the fine arts of handmade ceramics or glass fusing. We offer basic and advanced classes and open-studio access for both art forms in our fully equipped pottery and glass studio. Our 'hands-on' learning program includes:
Ceramics
We teach handbuilding and wheel throwing pottery classes to adults and kids with different skills levels. They learn to handle clay/glazes, hand building techniques (pinch, coil, slab, etc.) and wheel throwing skills (centering, coning, pulling, shaping, etc). They develop skills by making functional and decorative ceramic pieces. Click on the links below for

Glass Fusing
We teach glass fusing workshops where people learn to make dichroic glass jewelry and artwork in less than two hours at very affordable prices. No experience is needed ...minimum age 12 yrs.
Open Studio
People with basic pottery skills and those that attended one of our pottery classes or glass fusing workshops can use our facilities to make ceramic pieces, dichroic glass jewelry and glass artwork under
this program. Join our talented group of recreational potters, glass enthusiasts and artists!
