MIY Ceramics is a South Florida open-door studio and learning center for folks interested in making their own pottery without having to set up a costly home studio. We're a unique playground for recreational Skilful potters or novices use our facilities to make pottery under a flexible access plan. If you want to unwind, meet other people that have "clay in common" and be inspired by a constant flow of artistic ideas join this group. Our communal environment will help you gain new skills or enhance existing ones as you work, bond with other potters and exchange pottery making expertise and ideas. We provide all you need: ....classes, space, wheels, tools, clay, glazes, kiln's firings, support... You provide the talent! Facilities the main room of our 1500 sq. feet studio is an open space fitted with many workstations for handbuilding, slab making, throwing and glazing. We are outfitted with a 22" Our studio facilities are open to you by joining one of the access plans below. As beneficial as our plans might be, you'll get the most value from the relationships you'll establish with our members. They are a lively group of down-to-earth folks from all walks of life with mixed backgrounds, skills and talents. Some are new to ceramics, others proficient artists. All are resourceful, always willing to give you a helping hand should you get 'stuck in the mud'. They all have a common passion for pottery making and ceramics artwork and love sharing it with other members. Access Plans

The well ventilated kiln and green ware room, separated from the main room, has direct access to our fenced backyard which is used for clay reclamation and glazing. We provide a wide variety of clay bodies and glazes (commercially and studio made) and different firing methods.
