Slumping involves heating glass in a kiln until it flattens and changes shape (click here to learn more). We use such process to recycle used glass bottles and repurpose them into functional, charming artwork. Bottles can be slumped flat to be used as sushi plates, cheese or cracker trays, bar cutting boards, spoon holders, table or wall decorations, personal mementos, picture frames, wind chimes, sun catchers, etc. They can also be shaped using special molds. Our current styles: curved sushi plates, serving bowls, fruit holders, incense burners, ash trays and candle holders.
You can use slumped bottles as functional or decorative pieces in your home and business. They add pizzazz to your parties and fundraising events. They also make distinctive gifts! Painted bottles like Van Gogh, Grey Goose Vodka and Sobe, as well as some wine and beer bottles, are great because you will still see the bottle's logo after slumping.
If specified in your order, we will add a wire loop hook to the bottles so that they can be used as wall decorations also
Have your Bottles Slumped
Bring or send us your bottles ( beer, wine, liqueur, wedding, special keepsakes, etc.) and we will transform them into unique artworks. Please specify the type of slumping desired - flat or shaped and style - serving bowl, ash tray, etc.

You must thoroughly
clean and dry the inside and outside of your bottles and remove labels and glue from the bottles. Painted and engraved logos are ok. The following prices apply when you supply the bottles: flat bottles....$7 each, shaped bottles....$12 each.

You may also order slumped bottles from us. We offer bottles in various colors and styles for sale. Unless your order states a preference, we ship styles and colors in stock (usually clear and light or dark shades of green and brown).

The following prices apply when we supply the bottles: flat bottles....$10 each, shaped bottles....$15 each.
Shipping Charges
To reduce your shipping cost, we use uninsured USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail Package within the continental US as follows: flat bottles 1-4...$10, shaped bottles 1-3...$12. You have
the option to buy package protection insurance for $2 covering up to $100 for shipment lost and damages.
If you order more than $100, we will provide insurance free.
South Florida residents and visitors to our area can order by email or phone (954-927-7300), pick up their bottles at our studio (723 S 21 Ave Hollywood, FL 33020) and save the shipping expenses. They may also drop off bottles for slumping at our studio, pick them up after they are ready and save shipping costs.
